While Ephron’s biggest hits, including the prescient You’ve Got Mail, may
have come in the late 1980s and early ’90s, she made another acclaimed
film in 2009 with Julie & Julia.

But Ephron wasn’t just a filmmaker. Her New Yorker essays were also revered
by fans for their insight and humor.

While Ephron has passed, much of her work luckily lives on online. The New
Yorker honored her death by posting an archive of her pieces for the magazine.
Classic clips from many of her greatest films live on onYouTube. And C-Span
has a recording of her famous 1996 commencement speech at her alma mater,
Wellesley University.
